SolarSmart – Customer Journey

  • When a lead is received, an Advisor from SolarSmart will make contact within 24 hours and discuss the customer’s property and energy goals.
  • Further information is gathered from the customer about their electricity usage and roof.
  • Based on these consultations, a recommendation is made for a custom solar PV system with a breakdown of its specifications, estimated costs, and projected savings.
  • SolarSmart will also provide the customer with information on the SEAI Grant they can receive for their solar PV system.
  • A site survey is arranged for the customers to meet with a representative of SolarSmart face to face.
  • During this survey, the property is assessed to make sure the installation is feasible, and the surveyor will answer any questions the customers may have.
  • A final technical survey is carried out once the customer is ready to proceed.
  • A date for the installation to be carried out is arranged with SolarSmart’s fully in-house team of installers.
  • The solar and electrical systems are typically installed in the space of a single day.
  • The full system is tested for safety and performance at this time by the installation team, who will also demonstrate the solar monitoring system for customers.
