Easily Scalable Design
The Livoltek Low-Voltage Residential Battery system is designed to be able to scale up, with a maximum of five modules operating in parallel. This gives the system a potential upper storage capacity of 25kWh, more than any household needs and enough for a wide variety of businesses.
With power storage capacities ranging from 5kWh – 25kWh, customers are able to match their battery system to their individual needs.
Long Battery Life
Livoltek uses lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 / LFP) which have longer lifespans than traditional lithium-ion batteries, as well as improved safety. Homeowners can be assured of a long-lasting battery with no fire risk.
The Livoltek Low-Voltage Residential Battery is rated for a lifespan of 6,000 charge/discharge cycles. This means that the battery can be fully charged and discharged 6,000 times in its expected lifespan.
If the battery is fully discharged once a day, that still gives it a lifespan of more than 16 years. At two cycles a day the battery would still last more than 8 years.
Maximise Solar Self-Consumption
The Livoltek Battery feature a 90% Depth-of-Discharge (DoD), meaning that 90% of its 5.12kW nominal capacity is discharged with each cycle. This high DOD helps to maximise the amount of solar power being consumed in users’ homes.
Monitor & Control Remotely
The Livoltek app and web portal allow for remote monitoring and control of the battery’s status and operating mode. See real time data on its state of charge and historical patterns of the battery’s power usage.
The Livoltek monitoring system allows users to select multiple operating modes meant to make the best use of solar power, protect against blackouts, or more detailed controls.
Clean Battery Design
The Livoltek solar battery has a clean modern design that makes an elegant addition to any home. The outer casing of the battery is a smooth curved surface, without sharp edges or angles.
Fitted with Livoltek hybrid or off-grid inverters they connect seamlessly to form a single unit on your wall. The soft white colour of the aluminium frame blends softly with any room, while also providing protection for the components inside.
Robust Safety Measures
The Livoltek Low-Voltage Residential Battery features a smart Battery Management System (BMS) with multiple layers of electrical protection, along with double layered mechanical protection.
The battery system is rated IP65 for ingress protection, with a completely dust proof casing which is also protected against jets of water. This ensures that the battery is safe to use in any environment.
The lithium iron phosphate chemical makeup of the battery ensures that it is fire-safe from electrical short circuits or mishandling compared with older lithium-ion batteries.
