Ohme Home Chargers
Ohme offers two models of EV chargers, the Home Pro and ePod, with different levels of functionality to cater for different users. All Ohme chargers contain a range of smart features controllable via their app.
Ohme Home Pro
The Ohme Home Pro is the full package EV charger, with built-in display screen and control buttons on the unit, along with a tethered charging cable. This makes the Home Pro the charger of choice for users who want to ease of access and control at all times.
The screen and button controls on the Home Pro charger allow users to see information such as the current battery state, the cost of charging, and when your charging session is expected to finish.
Despite its greater functionality, the Home Pro remains a compact EV charger compared to many on the market.
Ohme ePod
The ePod features a compact design, omitting built in controls for a smaller package that will barely be noticeable when installed in your home.
The ePod comes with a socket ready to accept Type 1 and Type 2 AC charging cables. This provides cross generational capability, able to cater for older electric cars and still viable when upgrading.
App Controls & Smart Charging
The Ohme app enables easy control of the Home Pro and ePod’s smart charging features. With these, you can charge your way to maximise savings and sustainability from your driving.
Schedule Charging: Set a schedule for when and how your electric vehicle should be charged.
Tariff Integration: Set your electricity tariffs to ensure that your charger acts only when prices are lowest.
Data Visualisation: See how much energy your charger has, the expected price of a charging session, and more.
Multicar: Swipe between saved settings and energy visualisations for multiple electric vehicles from a single account.
Solar Charging: The Solar Boost mode on the Home Pro and ePod chargers allows you to charge from excess home solar power.
Load Balancing: Ohme chargers come with dynamic load balancing that adjusts charging speed based on the level of demand being placed on the electricity supply. This protects against overloads without needing intervention.
Vehicle Integration: The Ohme app can provide specific information about your vehicle by using an API from partnering car manufacturers.
