Sync Energy

Established in 2009 as a renewable energy technology company, Sync Energy has been a part of the EV charging industry since 2015. Since then, the company has pioneered small, but powerful home EV chargers that make electric vehicles more accessible for homeowners and businesses alike.

Sync Home Chargers

Sync Energy has two models of Home AC chargers, the Link and the Wall Charger 2, both offering reliable and efficient EV charging in sleek, compact units.

The Wall Charger 2 offers dynamic charging speeds of up to 7.4kW in a reliable, compact unit. The Wall Charger 2 is available in both tethered and untethered models, with either an attached 7.5m charging cable or socket for any attachable cable.

The Link EV Charger does away with a large unit in favour of a slim, unobtrusive charger you would barely notice on the wall. This is paired with a larger control box that can be placed somewhere out of sight nearby.

Despite its small size, the Link EV Charger features the same smart charging options and built in safety features as the Wall Charger 2.

Sync Commercial Chargers

For commercial and fleet EV charging, Sync offers two options: an upgraded version of the wall charger with a 22kW output or the highly modular Pro Charge range.

The Pro Charge range comes with multiple options in charging speeds and the number of charger points. The unit is capable of holding one or two charge points varying from 7.4kW to 22kW in strength in single-phase and three-phase power supplies.

Multiple connectivity options make it simple to connect users using plug-and-charge, RFID controls, and payment terminal support, providing great flexibility in managing the charging network. OCPP support guarantees Sync Pro chargers can integrate with any charging network, while the built-in MID meter ensures that users are billed accurately.

The Wall Charger 2 commercial model supplies a dynamic charging speed of up to 22kW with a three-phase power supply. This variant is also designed as exclusively socketed rather than tethered.

All three-phase Wall Chargers come with an integrated Class C power meter, with the option for an external MID meter for totally accurate energy usage measurements and billing.

Sync Energy App

The Monta app provides a single point of control for your Sync EV chargers at home to ensure smarter, more affordable charging.

If you don’t want to make use of these smart features, the Auto Start feature turns your home EV charger into a simple plug-and-charge device. While this is engaged, the app stays an incredibly useful monitoring platform.

  • Solar Charging: Use the app to set solar charging controls. With solar charging enabled, you can use either solar power alone or a mix of solar and grid power to maintain a certain charging speed at all times.

  • Control Access: Invite family and friends to use your charger while still maintaining full control of access to it.

  • Track Performance: See your charging history, energy usage, and cost estimates for your charging.

  • Time Controls: Manually set charging schedules that can control when the charger should be active or when the battery should be fully charged.

  • Charging Boost: If you need your car urgently, then you can interrupt your charging schedules with the push of one button to tell it to charge now.
