Home Charging Solutions

Wallbox Pulsar Plus EV Charger

The main home EV charging line from Wallbox is the Pulsar family, consisting of the Pulsar Plus and the enhanced Pulsar Max.

Both options come with tethered and cable socket options. The tethered options further reduce the already small profile of the wall mounted charger, while Pulsar sockets can accommodate Type 1 and Type 2 AC charging cables.

Pulsar chargers also come available with dynamic charging speeds of 7 – 22kW for homes with single phase or three phase power. 

The newer Pulsar Max has all the same smart features as the Pulsar Plus: solar charging, load balancing, and more, along with greater robustness, a simpler installation process, and an upgraded CPU.

Next Generation Charging

For homeowners looking to the future, the Quasar 2 promises to revolutionise home charging. The Quasar 2 enables both DC charging at home, with a CCS2 connector, as well as Vehicle to Home and Vehicle to Grid Bidirectional Charging.

Commercial Charging Solutions

For commercial and fleet charging, Wallbox has a wide range of options that allow businesses a great deal of flexibility in charging speeds and energy management systems.

The Pulsar Pro takes the compact design of the Pulsar Family, and optimises it for shared spaces with RFID access controls, 4G connectivity, and contactless payment options.

The eM4 is the upgraded solution for commercial charging, with MID metering for extremely accurate billing, the option of two charge points per unit, and dynamic load management for up to 30 charge points on the same network.

At the far end of the range is the Supernova, Wallbox’s high-power DC charging station, complete with charging speeds ranging from 60kW to 240kW. Ideal for customers who need to charge quickly on the go.

The Supernova combines a sleek design with a small footprint that takes up less space in car parks and other locations. Multiple payment options, including bank card readers and RFID access, make charging easy for users on the go.

Smart Charging & Energy Management

The My Wallbox App allows users to unlock the full potential of their home chargers on the go, with just the push of a button. The app enables users to save money by better understanding their electricity usage and adjusting charging controls in response.

  • Set Charging Schedules: Create schedules for when your EV charger should be active at different times and days of the week.

  • Set Power Limit: Set a power limit on the maximum current of your charger to avoid drawing too much power when other appliances are in use.

  • Dynamic Load Management: With an added meter clamp in place, you can ensure that your charger is always running at the highest charging speed that won’t overload the system.

  • Lock/Unlock: For socketed chargers, the app allows users to lock and unlock the charger for added safety and control of access.

  • Add Electricity Tariffs: At your electricity tariffs to the app to see what the cost of each charging session has been, and will be.

  • Manual Control: Stop and start charging sessions with the push of a button when you need to override set schedules and charge immediately.

Solar Charging

Wallbox Pulsar chargers are set up to use solar power for EV charging in a variety of modes. This is true whether or not your charger is connected to a single or three phase power supply.

  • Full-Green Mode: Uses 100% surplus solar energy exclusively. Charging starts automatically when there is enough electricity available for the charger.

  • Eco Mode: Utilises a mix of surplus solar energy and grid power to maintain charging speed and sustainability. The mix is automatically adjusted based on the availability of solar power.

  • Solar Charging 3P Optimisation: When in three-phase mode, your Pulsar charger will automatically switch back to 1-Phase when it detects enough solar energy is available.

Business Energy Management

The Wallbox Business Portal offers a perfect turnkey solution for businesses that need to integrate many chargers for fleet management and commercial charging. 

  • Add multiple chargers and group them by location for easy management.
  • Invite drivers manually for controlled access and set them individual access rights and payment options.
