Jinko Solar
Jinko Solar has gained a reputation for cutting edge research in the field of solar power, frequently breaking world records for solar panel efficiency levels, and embracing emerging solar technologies.
Founded in 2006, Jinko Solar has grown rapidly in the past two decades to one of the largest manufacturers on the planet. Today the company is headquartered in Shanghai, China, with manufacturing facilities in 14 countries around the world, and 21 overseas subsidiaries.
Jinko is consistently ranked on Bloomberg’s list of the best Tier 1 manufacturers of top quality solar panels.
High Performance TOPCon Solar Cells
The N-type TOPCon solar cells used in Jinko Tiger Neo solar panels ensure a high power output with 22.02% efficiency on the 440W modules.
The N-type monocrystalline cells which Jinko uses for their Tiger Neo range also perform better in low light settings than their older p-type counterparts.
Half-Cell Panel Structure
Tiger Neo panels make use of half cells which reduces the amount of current flowing on each busbar, and the amount of power lost to resistance as a result. Half cells also have lower operating temperatures than full solar cells, which can further improve the module’s efficiency.
The Super Multi-Busbar (SMBB) technology which goes with half-cut cells also improves light trapping in solar modules, and their subsequent power output.
Each module is comprised of 108 cells in total, divided into two halves of 54×2 cells, reducing the amount of power which is lost from shading compared with conventional modules.
Bifacial Power Generation
Jinko’s dual glass Tiger Neo solar modules are fitted with bifacial solar cells, increasing their power capture from reflected light.
Bifacial solar modules can increase their power gain by up to 20% depending on the reflectiveness of the surface behind the panels.
High-Temperature Performance
The HOT 3.0 technology used in Jinko Solar TIger Neo panels reduces their power losses over time from Light Induced Degradation (LID) and Light and elevated Temperature Induced Degradation (LeTID).
The N-type solar panels have been optimised with a temperature coefficient of -0.29%/℃, meaning that just 0.29% of the modules output is lost for every degree the cell temperature rises above 25°C.
Reliability Guarantees
The performance testing of Jinko Tiger Neo solar modules is matched with product and performance warranties which match up with the best offered in the industry today.
Jinko’s Tiger Neo Solar panels come with a 25 year Product Warranty, giving peace of mind to homeowners so that they don’t have to worry about out of pocket expenses if the worst happens.
The 30 year Power Warranty is also among the best you can find in solar panels, guaranteeing that Tiger Neo modules will retain 87.4% of their original output after three decades.
Tiger Neo panels should suffer no more than 1% degradation in their first year, and 0.4% each year thereafter.
Tiger Neo panels have 2cm heat strengthened glass front and back, and feature a Class C fire protection rating. They have been certified to withstand a 6,000 Pa static load on their front side, and 4,000 Pa on their rear-side for snow and wind protection.
All-Black Module Design
The all black design of the Jinko Tiger Neo 440W panels creates a seamless surface wherever they are installed. The silicon of the solar panels blends together with the blackened aluminium frame and the front and back glass covers.
Each panel measures 1792mm × 1140mm × 1249 mm and weighs 24.5kg. A solar PV array made of Tiger Neo panels will make a sleek and futuristic addition to any rooftop.
