LiFePO4 Battery Technology
The latest Lithium-Ion Phosphate battery technology is a step above past lithium ion batteries with significant improvements in lifespan and safety.
LiFePO4 batteries can last up to 4x times longer than traditional lithium-ion batteries, potentially adding thousands of charge cycles to their lifespan.
In addition, the chemical composition of LiFePO4 batteries is more fire resistant, and will not burn when exposed to fire or heat. This means that owners don’t need to be as worried about short circuits or hard knocks creating a fire hazard.
Flexible Capacity for Household Needs
The two main models of Solina batteries used by our installers, the 5kW Battery Pack and 10kW HV Battery Pack offer solar storage capacity which can meet the needs of any sized household.
Both models can also scale up with multiple linked modules for larger business needs.
Easily Scalable Batteries
The HV Battery Pack system and the smaller 5kW module have both been designed to work in parallel with multiple other battery modules to achieve a greater storage capacity.
The Soluna HV Pack series can connect up to 10 modules in series, with a combined capacity of 100kWh in the case of the 10kW module.
The smaller 5kW battery pack can connect up to 12 modules in parallel, for a combined capacity of 60kWh or power storage.
Elegant Design
Soluna batteries have a pleasing aesthetic of smooth lines, soft corners, and matt colours, whether light or dark. The futuristic looking modules wouldn’t create a jarring presence no matter where in a home they are located.
Wiring ports on Soluna batteries are concealed behind caps and cover plates to leave the surface and appearance of the battery unbroken, and minimise the appearance of mess from cables.
Long Lifespan
Soluna 5kW and 10kW HV Battery Packs are both rated for more than 6000 charge/discharge cycles. This means that cycled once a day, they should last for more than 15 years.
