Easily Battery Upgradable
The Sigen Hybrid Inverter is designed to fit together elegantly with the Sigenstor Solar Battery System.
The inverter acts the control unit for up to six battery modules which can be combined into a single stack of up to 48kW of storage capacity.
The battery system can be easily upgraded after the inverter has been installed, simply stacking on new battery modules as you go.
Combine Multiple PV Strings
Not all roofs are able to have many solar panels located in a single place, and may have to have more than one cluster of panels running on different strings.
The Single Phase Sigen Hybrid Inveter is capable of running two Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms simultaneously, with one PV string for each MPPT.
This means that for awkawarly shaped roofs, or those with an east-west inclination, two different PV strings can run through a single inverter.
LED Indicators
The LED display on the front face of the Sigen Hybrid Inverter contains display status for different elements of the solar PV array.
The colour of the display icons indicate the current status of the Signal (connection to management system), DC Connection, AC Connection, Battery Storage, and DC Charger.
Mobile Management System
The Sigen Hybrid Inverter and Sigenstor Battery Storage system can be monitored and controlled directly through the MySigen App management system on mobile and desktop platforms.
MySigen allows for easy monitoring of the inverters performance, control of different operating modes, along with remote troubleshooting of any problem.
Electrical Protections
The Sigen Hybrid Inverter comes with multiple layers of protection from electrical mishaps which may occur in your home’s solar power system.
Long-distance Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) systems will cut the power if it detects a loose electrical arc from frayed wiring which could pose a fire hazard.
The system also comes with built in DC reverse polarity protection, Insulation monitoring, Residual current monitoring, AC overcurrent/overvoltage/short-circuit protection, Type II DC/AC surge protection, and Anti-islanding protection.
