LONGi Solar

LONGi boats multiple ranges of solar modules designed to meet different residential, commercial, and utility needs.

From the Hi-Mo 5 up to the Hi-Mo S10 series of panels, LONGi customers can select between modules starting from 415W and 22.8% efficiency in the residential Hi-Mo X6 range, up to 670W modules with an efficiency of 24.8% in the Hi-Mo 10 range.

These different modules incorporate a range of bifacial, back contact, or HJT cell technologies for different applications.

Many residential solar panels made by LONGi feature their Hybrid Passivated Back Contact (HPBC) technology. This design has all welding contacts between the solar cells on the back of the panel, leaving the front free from busbars and electrical connections.

This has multiple benefits, such as eliminating all shading on the front and improving light capture. It also produces a solar panel which has greater protection against microfractures and a cleaner appearance up front.

LONGi remains at the forefront of solar research and development, setting new records for solar cell efficiency on many occasions.

Since 2021, LONGi has set the photovoltaic (PV) cell conversion efficiency record 19 times. In 2025, the company set a record of 27.81% efficiency for its n-type silicon Hybrid Interdigitated-Back-Contact (HIBC) solar cell, pushing the boundaries of technology already in use.

At the same time, and looking to the future, LONGi set a world record of 34.85% conversion efficiency for its crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem solar cell. This silicon-perovskite tandem will become the next step in solar panel technology.

The solar panels LONGi has already brought to the market have some of the highest efficiency levels available. Standard residential solar panels will usually feature efficiency levels of ~22.5% – 23%, while higher end models such as the X10 series are pushing close to 25% efficiency.
