Long Lasting & Safe Batteries
SigenStor battery packs are made with the latest LiFePO4 lithium phosphate battery technology. These last up to 4x times longer than traditional lithium-ion batteries, and are far safer to boot.
The chemical makeup of LiFePO4 batteries makes them extremely fire resistant, with even short circuits or heavy knocks and piercing blows posing little risk.
Flexible Battery Capacity
SigenStor battery modules come in one of two capacity levels, 5kW and 8kW, with modules able to work together.
This gives homeowners complete control of how much storage capacity they want in their solar battery system.
Seamless Integration & Scaling
SigenStor integrates seamlessly with the Sigen Hybrid Inverter, with the inverter acting as the control module on top of the stack of battery modules.
The battery stacks itself can scale from one to six modules, easily able to accept new and old modules and modules of different capacities working together.
The battery packs come with built-in DC connectors allowing them to be simply plugged into one another, eliminating the need for wiring battery packs in parallel.
Direct EV Charging
The SigenStor battery module allows for direct DC charging of electric vehicles by drawing power from the battery stack or straight from your solar panels as it is fed in for 100% green charging.
The direct feed of DC power to the electric vehicle bypasses the AC to DC conversion required with home chargers, allowing for more rapid charging.
Bi-directional charging capacity allows not only for Home-to-Vehicle charging from the solar battery but also Vehicle-to-Home charging. In the event of a blackout, your EV can feed power directly into the SigenStor battery to keep the lights on.
Sleek & Futuristic Design
The SigenStor 5-in-1 system is contained within a sleek white shell with a clean and futuristic design. The smooth contours and soft colours of the SigenStor shell make for an elegant home appliance.
The built-in connectors between mattery modules mean that there is no messy cabling, while the decorative cover is designed to resist deformation or decolouration even after 10 year of use.
Full Mobile App Controls
The battery status, whether it is charging or discharging power as well as its current capacity, can be monitored and controlled from the MySigen app for mobile and desktop platforms.
MySigen provides a complete monitoring system for all devices connected to the solar PV system.
Controls enabled through the MySigen App include setting a minimum ‘backup reserve’ power level for the battery system. This will ensure that the battery does not discharge below a certain threshold in case of a power outage.
Robust Battery Design
The SigenStor battery features high level IP66 protection against water damage and ingress by dust and other particulate matter.
The low voltage of the battery makes it safer for human handling, and the system has also been designed with five layers of safety protection.
The material of the decorative cover has been tested and certified to last 15 years of usage without deformation, protecting the electrical components within.
